GTA6Direct (gta6direct.com) is an unofficial fan site for Grand Theft Auto VI. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that distinguish visitors, and records pages viewed, referring sites, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Email address. We collect your email address when you sign up for launch notifications, sign in (we email you a one-time login link), or send us a message through the contact form. The contact form also collects your name if you provide it and your message.
Submissions. Point-of-interest submissions require you to sign in and are linked to your account. Roleplay server submissions collect the server details you enter and a contact email, which is never published. Advertiser inquiries collect your company name, email, budget range, and placement interests. The feedback prompt sends only the message you type.
Hosting logs. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We use Google Analytics cookies as described above. If you sign in, our authentication provider sets cookies that keep you logged in. We do not currently use advertising cookies or show third-party ads. If we add advertising, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Some features save information only in your browser's local storage — for example your checklist progress and whether you have dismissed a prompt. That information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Vercel hosts the site. Supabase stores submissions, sign-ups, and accounts and handles sign-in. Resend delivers our emails. Google Analytics provides usage statistics. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Some pages load content from other sites, which receive your IP address and browser details as part of that request: video thumbnails from YouTube (the video player itself loads only after you press play) and official screenshots from image hosts such as gta.wiki, media.gtaboom.com, and rockstargames.com.
We use this information to run and improve the site, send the launch notifications you asked for, respond to your messages, review submissions, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Launch sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them. Contact messages and inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the conversation. Approved map submissions become part of the public map. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics data-retention setting.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you launch emails, by using the contact form with the Legal topic. Depending on where you live — including the EEA, the UK, and California — you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honor requests made under them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
GTA6Direct covers a game intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
