Opens on an aerial shot of Brian’s Marina in the Leonida Keys, boats racked along the waterfront, with Jason polishing a boat in the yard. A call from Lucia follows, over dialogue about his troubled exit from the Army and the money trouble he is in. The trailer leads with the Keys rather than Vice City, which matches Rockstar’s statement that the pair begin the story there.
An aerial night pass over the city, then street level — pedestrians, and wildlife moving through the same scenes. Jason and Lucia appear together in an open-top convertible. The cut from marina daylight to city night inside twenty seconds is the trailer establishing both ends of the map early.
Jason adjusts body armour; armed figures move across a yacht at night under searchlights. The sequence cuts to two women carrying bags through a circular vault doorway, then banknotes drifting through a smoky room lined with safe-deposit boxes, small fires still burning. This is the trailer’s only extended look at a job in progress.
A green sports car slides through an intersection and a motorcyclist lifts the front wheel. Then the trailer’s most unusual shot: a person standing on the wing of a biplane holding a pink smoke flare above a crowded beach. It is the clearest signal that the stunt register from previous games survives intact.
Dialogue returns, with the two of them asking whether they are going to be okay — the emotional beat the trailer is built around. It gives way to a helicopter carrying a suspended load, shattering high-rise glass, police lights, a rifle, an explosion, and figures falling. The closing card is the November 19, 2026 release date.
Launch trailers sell a tone rather than disclose information, and this one holds to that. Everything in it was already known or already shown. If you are waiting on any of the following, it is still outstanding:
Rockstar Games is the source for the release date, the music credits, and the statement that all footage was captured on a base PlayStation 5. The shot timings above come from frame-by-frame analysis of the public trailer rather than from Rockstar, so treat them as close rather than exact. Speculative identifications are not included.
